The 2022 Humans of Dementia contest winners represent three high school students and three college students from across the US and Canada: Kennedy Frias, Joanna George, Gavin German, Chloe Lu, Franka Sparks, and Sarah Zamudio.

Humans of Dementia is a national storytelling contest for high school and college students to share their experiences with a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease through visual and written storytelling with the goal of raising awareness about the disease and inspiring change.
