This workshop is aimed at anyone who wants to take better portraits whether of friends, family or strangers in the street. David Graham is a UK based award-winning portrait photographer who believes anyone can take great portraits in a short time. David shows you his tips and tricks and by the end you will know how. Last year those that attended his workshop gave rave reviews – as one participant said “I learned more in 90 minutes with David than in 30 years reading books”. This is not a technical workshop so come along with a digital camera, whether an SLR or an iPhone.
All portraits taken during the hands-on workshop will be considered for a portrait exhibition curated by David Graham during the second weekend of Photoville, September 26-29.
David Graham is based in the UK and became a photograph after a career in business including being shoemaker to the queen.
He works for charities all over the world and his work has been selected for inclusion in the National Portrait Gallery in London on several occasions.
He is the founder of the charity Changing Ideas that uses photographer to make a difference.
He has run workshops all over the world including Photoville in 2012 and returns this year to repeat his successful workshop.
