Ever see an amazing photo and wonder “how’d they do that?” Photographers do this all the time, and it’s a great exercise for sharpening your skills so you too can be taking amazing pictures.

This workshop focuses on breaking down key photographers’ lighting and camera setups using only clues contained within the image itself. The purpose of this class is to acquaint students with seeing critically and working backwards to unlock the secrets of photography using our powers of observation.

We’ll walk you through our breakdowns of some iconic images, showing you exactly how they were done. Students can also nominate their favorite photos for expert forensic analysis!
