Zines are an exciting part of the photobook scene right now. They are lo-fi publications, often diy, that are unlimited and unconventional in subject matter.

Conveyor Art’s Zine Workshop invites kids to participate in this exciting outlet of creativity by making their very own zine.

Conveyor Arts will provide paper, scissors, glue sticks and variety of photographic images for participants to use in their project. You are also welcome to bring your own images to use! Participants will learn how to take a single sheet of paper and turn it into a book!

The workshop will focus on sequencing images and finding unique ways to integrate them into the book format. Once the zine is complete, participants will get a chance to share their project, then bring it home for keeps!
