Students at Red Hook Labs School will present their work created during this year’s Youth Career and Youth Summer Program sessions. They will discuss what they learned at Labs School and show work from a special collaboration, translating authentic lifestyle to photography and video for a fashion brand. The students will present their artwork in 35mm stills, polaroids, Super 8 film and digital photos.
Labs teacher Bashira Webb will moderate the panel on students’ individual and shared experiences at Red Hook Labs Community Programs.

Labs is a public-benefit corporation located in Red Hook, Brooklyn and Downtown Los Angeles, which establishes arts education in public schools and community centers, provides accelerated skills training on its premises, and connects teens and young adults to internships and job opportunities in the creative industries. Labs is comprised of four individual labs: Studio, Gallery, Production and School. The non-profit Labs School department offers free community programs to youth in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
