Sarai Garcia is a Dominican-American photographer from Queens, New York. Her work creates spaces of celebration and self-discovery, offering a fresh lens that highlights individuality and the beauty of being unapologetically oneself. Beyond photography, she is the founder of The Junk Edit, a community-centered journaling workshop that encourages creativity, connection, and rest through the art of junk journaling. Grounded in themes of community and self-care, Sarai’s practice bridges image-making and creative play, carving out space for people to slow down, reflect, and see themselves in empowering new ways.
