Penumbra has been making tintypes at Photoville for over a decade. Considered by many to be the Polaroid of the 19th century, the tintype is made almost instantaneously through a process that uses hand poured chemicals on an enameled sheet of metal. Guests can sign up to have their portrait made through this historical process and will walk away that day with their own unique heirloom.

Come join us at the ICP tent for some zine-making! Learn how to make your own zines (mini-magazine) using recycled and repurposed images through collage and collaboration with ICP faculty and alum, Roy Baizan. No prior registration necessary.

INSPIRED LIVE provides a platform for a unique group of cross-disciplined artists and industry professionals to reveal their sources of inspiration. In these fast-paced, 6-minute presentations, speakers select 15 images which stay on screen for 20 seconds each.
