More New York Stories is a continuation of a concept we first used for Photoville 2022 — the work included in this exhibition was created for our graduate program’s Editorial Photography class taught by James Estrin with Tom Ashe and Marko Kovacevic. This class challenges students to find stories that are relevant to them and explore them through images. Year after year, New York City provides inspiration for many of these projects, especially for those students who come from other places in the world.

Each story represents a slice of NYC life that is often overlooked or hidden but worth exploring.
