WITNESS is a national pop-up art experience and tour, that features work by Black women and non-binary artists who project their vision of the world, society, community, and themselves through their art. The visual arts exhibition explores the intersectional vantage point of the Black femme-identifying artist—inviting the viewer to bear witness to what they may not otherwise see on their own. WITNESS premiered in Spring 2023 at WACO Theater Center in Los Angeles, curated by Genel Ambrose and Tina Knowles, and in partnership with Black Women Photographers.
