We at NYU Tisch Future Imagemakers are passionate about image-making. We believe in the power of photography as self-expression, and as a means to reflect on our surroundings and lives, build self-confidence, and address social justice issues. We strive to expand boundaries, open up possibilities, and learn from each other. ORGANIZATION BIO

NYU Tisch Future Imagemakers is a social practice photography project at Tisch School of the Arts Department of Photography & Imaging and part of the Tisch Future Artists Program. Free digital photography classes are offered every spring, taught by Bayeté Ross Smith and NYU students to NYC area high school students.
