Step into the shoes of a professional fashion photographer in this on-set photoshoot simulation workshop. Brooklyn-based BKC teams up with creative agency ADULTR to bring you a high-fashion experience unlike any other, featuring established industry veterans to guide and challenge you along the way. Take on the role of photographer director by building ideas for your fantasy fashion assignment and working with a real-life art director, stylist and assistant to realize your vision. Develop skills and confidence on set through productive teamwork and dedicated feedback sessions, and discover what it takes to make it in fashion photography today.

The workshop also includes an optional wrap-up session and casual group critique, where students can share work and ideas, and get feedback from instructors and workshop peers.
Justin Lin was born in North Carolina and has lived in New York for 20 (!) years. After years shooting fashion editorial and advertising, Justin opened BKC to build a stronger photography community through accessible education. Now in its 8th year, BKC has had the sincere privilege of guiding thousands of everyday New Yorkers toward their creative goals and dreams.
Rockie Nolan (b. 1990) is a fashion & portrait photographer based in New York City. She holds a BFA in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design. Shortly after graduating, she launched her career at Refinery29, working as a Photo Editor for over 4 years. With an emphasis on diverse casting, she aims to represent a broad spectrum of subjects (both agency and street cast) through a colorful, playful, and authentic lens. Rockie’s recent clients and publications include Rebecca Minkoff, InStyle, Milk Makeup, Madewell, Vice, Damn Joan, and more.
