Bushwick Community Darkroom

Bushwick Community Darkroom is a darkroom offering affordable printing resources and education for emerging film photographers. We provide affordable resources and a space where people can create art and ideas in a bustling community space. Bushwick Community Darkroom’s mission is to foster a supportive and collaborative environment for emerging photographers to work productively at affordable rates, share resources and knowledge about traditional and contemporary film photography methods, and engage in dialogue with others in the process of creation. In this creation, collaboration, and dialogue, we aim to create a space that pushes the envelop of contemporary photographic styles and techniques, while honoring the history of our beloved art form.
