Daniel Vasta (he/him) is the Multimedia and Digital Marketing Coordinator at the Pulitzer Center based in Washington, D.C. As a communications team member, Daniel uses multimedia storytelling to support the Pulitzer Center’s mission and tell its story across digital platforms. Before joining the Pulitzer Center, Daniel worked as a visual journalist in New Jersey, Indiana, and Michigan, where he covered community-oriented stories.
This collection of projects supported by the Pulitzer Center explores themes of cultural traditions and resistance, showcasing the resilience of communities around the world as they fight to preserve and revitalize traditions that sustain livelihoods and create hope for the next generation.
