Erick Urgiles: As a SONY Alpha Ambassador, Erick Hercules is known for pioneering and being one of the best and most influential non-Photoshop levitation photographers in the world, as well as for his immense contribution to “puddlegram” photography. Erick Hercules is a sought after visionary known for his engaging and energetic storytelling, combining both subjects and backdrops in a surrealistic manner.

Erick is known for his collaborations with brands like Converse, Puma, Palladium boots, Timberland, Swatch and Alpha Industries, with previous work displayed in prominent places such as Times Square billboards, flagship stores and magazines around the world. He specializes in footwear, fashion and product commercial photography.He is also a speaker, visual & branding strategist, and a creative consultant.

Raised in an artistic family, Erick spent his first 20 years being a classical singer, performing with world class choirs on salient stages and with many A-list celebrities. However, after co-founding Hercules NYC in the summer of 2012, he picked up a camera to do a photoshoot for what was then going to be Season 1 for the brand and immediately fell in love with the art of photography. Since then, he has been captivating the world with his images which encapsulate a new, fresh perspective, inspired by a mix of classical music training and a passion for great films and fashion.

Erick attended the prestigious Fiorello H. Laguardia High School for Music and Arts, as well as the Aaron Copland School of Music as a classical voice major.
