Jeanette D. Moses is a visual journalist based in New York City who specializes in live music and portraiture. Her music photography has been published by SPIN, Paste, Brooklyn Vegan, Flavorwire, PopGun and Impose and her work has been exhibited in group and solo shows at Cloud City, Vital Joint, IDIO Gallery and The Cobra Club. In 2017 she founded Blood Sweat and Beers, a photography site dedicated to documenting New York City’s vibrant D.I.Y. music scene. This same year she was also recognized by PDN’s Ultimate Music Moment for her portrait series featuring Atlanta’s The Coathangers. Her favorite place to be on any given night is standing way too close to the speakers with camera in hand at venues across the city.
