Kristen Bartley

Kristen is a Brooklyn-based photographer, bookmaker and educator. Drawing upon personal histories and themes of impermanence and humanity’s relationship to nature, her work navigates the space between the internal and external as a revolving door for understanding. In 2020, Kristen was a full scholarship recipient and graduate of the Advanced Track Program at the International Center of Photography. She is the co-founder and co-editor of Ramble Editions, a publishing collective of image and text-based work. She currently manages the education and visitor services programs at the Alice Austen House Museum.
