Sarah Crofts (curator) is a multi-disciplinary artist working with time-based processes to examine power dynamics embedded in physical and social landscapes. Her career has crisscrossed the art world and the film industry, where she works as a location scout for film and television.
She recently had solo exhibitions at FiveMyles and NARS Foundation, both in Brooklyn, NY. Crofts has participated in group exhibitions and screenings in the US and abroad, at spaces including Tiger Strikes Asteroid, Brooklyn, NY; Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich, Germany; Julio Fine Arts Gallery, Loyola University, Baltimore, MD; John and June Allcott Gallery, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC; Athens Printmaking Art Center, Athens, Greece; Cosmos Arles Books, Rencontres d’Arles, Arles, France; and Liberia Central Contemporánea, Bogotá, Colombia.
Crofts’ work is held in private collections in Bogotá, Colombia; Bologna, Italy; and New York, USA.
