PRESENTER BIOS

The International Center of Photography (ICP) is the world’s leading institution dedicated to photography and visual culture. Cornell Capa founded ICP in 1974 to preserve the legacy of concerned photography—the creation of socially and politically minded images that can inform, educate, and change the world.

Through its exhibitions, education programs, events, and community outreach, ICP offers open forums for dialogue about the power of the image. To date, ICP has presented more than 700 exhibitions and offered thousands of classes at every level.

ICP will open a new, fully integrated center reuniting its exhibitions and education programs at Essex Crossing on the Lower East Side, New York City, in January 2020.
