Katerina Voegtle is a photographer, educator, researcher, and community organizer motivated by the firm belief that the photographic image can fundamentally change how we see and interact with the world. This belief has led her to spearhead community initiatives as both Manager of Youth Programs and as faculty at the International Center of Photography, to create socially-minded photographic work focused on housing justice and U.S. militarism, and to establish Estudio La Zambra, a creative studio centering the flamenco industry. Katerina received her B.F.A. from NYU with a double major in Photography & Imaging and Social & Cultural Analysis.
