WWF is leading work to protect rivers and freshwater resources across the world that are home to billions of people and many critically endangered species. Practices and policies are being implemented to better manage these vital resources, which support ecosystems and are vital to the health of the businesses and communities around them.
In Water Stories, Mustafah Abdulaziz presents powerful images, from across four continents, documenting the global water crisis. In collaboration with the HSBC Water Programme, a partnership between HSBC, Earthwatch, WaterAid and WWF, the exhibition highlights how water shapes every aspect of our lives and what is being done globally to address this critical issue. The installation will feature 70 large-scale photographs on the East River waterfront, presented in massive light boxes visible from Manhattan. Water Stories will remain on view through October 12.
