We will be hosting nighttime events in our Smorgasburg Beer Garden. We invite you to bring your picnic blanket, sweater and your friends to camp out under the stars and be prepared for some extraordinary visual storytelling.

The evening programming is free to attend and there is no need to RSVP. Just show up and enjoy!

Join National Geographic’s award-winning photographers and editors as they discuss how they build relationships to create impactful, visually led storytelling. Photo editor Kurt Mutchler will join photographer Maggie Steber as they explore the relationship between the photographers and the Stubblefield family from the September 2018 cover story, The Story of a Face. Following this conversation, photographer David Guttenfelder will describe an unusual assignment for the April 2019 Cities Issue: he was asked to walk hundreds of miles across the world’s most populous city carrying his smartphone and DSLR cameras in order to best capture what makes Tokyo tick. David and Photo Editor Sadie Quarrier will take us through the fun, immersive experience created out of his best mobile photos and videos.
