Join us for our first-ever workshop dedicated to exploring the cameras we carry right in our pockets! We all have great cameras with us wherever we go, but how many of us use them to their fullest potential?
Join photographer Chris Orwig, in collaboration with Adobe, for a workshop that combines photographic theory with hands-on practice. We will begin by discussing tips on capturing professional shots with your smartphone and then explore the local area as we take photos on a group walking tour.
We will return to the workshop tent to practice making your images shine with insider tips, image editing, and photo sharing techniques using the Adobe Lightroom CC app on your phone.
This is a BYOCP (bring your own camera phone) workshop that will meet for an introduction and slideshow session in the Photoville Workshop Area before heading out for a live, guided shooting session in and around Photoville.
The workshop includes an optional wrap-up session and casual group critique where students may share their work, plus get ideas and feedback from the instructors and their workshop peers.
Chris Orwig is a best-selling author, teacher and photographer. He has authored 6 best-selling books and created over 5,000 hours of online tutorials on platforms like lynda.com and CreativeLive. He regularly speaks on creativity and photography at conferences like PhotoPlus, Adobe MAX, WPPI, and he has been invited to speak for companies like Google, Adobe and on the TEDx stage. Whether shooting photographs, speaking, or writing books, he strives to inspire others to become more creative and to lead more creative lives.
We look forward to seeing you at our Adobe tent at Photoville! Our photographers will be there opening weekend—Saturday and Sunday from 12-7pm. Join us
