    Steve Zelin

    Known simply as “The Singing CPA,” Steve Zelin has a sharp wit and a gift for creating compelling song parody. He can also help you with your taxes. He has appeared on ABC Nightline, National Public Radio, and in the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times. Zelin earned an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Fordham University and has Series 6, 7 & 63 licenses. During this training session, you’ll hear Zelin’s funny songs about taxes, gain insights into the latest changes in tax law, and get solid general tax advice for animators and other freelancers. After graduating from Alfred University in 1998 with a BS in Accounting, Zelin began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Following stints at corporate banks JPMorgan Chase and Societe Generale, Zelin started his own accounting firm, specializing in bookkeeping, auditing, and consulting for small businesses, individuals and nonprofit organizations.

    Andrew Fingerman

    Before becoming CEO, Fingerman oversaw marketing at PhotoShelter for five years, driving the growth of the company’s platform of business tools for independent photographers. He pioneered the company’s photographer education efforts, resulting in a thriving library of free downloadable photography business guides and other resources to help independent photographers and small agencies grow.

    Prior to PhotoShelter, Fingerman was a Senior Product Manager with OPEN, the small business team at American Express. He handled customer marketing for the Centurion, Platinum, Gold and Green charge cards.

    His early career included a variety of marketing and strategy roles in technology and political campaign consulting. Fingerman holds an MBA from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business, and a BA from the University of Michigan. Fingerman frequently photographs his two kids and anything he cooks.
