Gabriela Bhaskar is a freelance photojournalist and educator based in New York City. She is currently a Photography Fellow at The New York Times. She reports on social justice, policy and women’s issues in the U.S. and Southeast Asia. Her work has been published in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Bloomberg, and more. Gabriela holds a masters degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and is a member of Women Photograph and Diversify Photo.
