Sameera Savarala is a climate change specialist at United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). She works on global climate policy, with a particular focus on the Paris Agreement and supporting island nations. Previously, Sameera worked for a land rights NGO in Cambodia, the Global Island Partnership, and the Chicago Department of Environment. She received her Master of Environmental Management degree from Yale University.
