Donna Ferrato is a women’s rights activist and internationally acclaimed photojournalist, best known for her groundbreaking documentation of domestic violence. Her work is rooted in New York City, where Ferrato moved to in 1979 to photograph the heady nightclub culture of the late ’70s and early ’80s. Ferrato’s most recent project celebrates the spirit and evolution of TriBeCa.
