The number one thing on a photographer’s mind is their photography, but how to get it out for the world to see may be a hurdle some don’t want to jump. Resource Magazine will give you the quick start guide on how to set up your website, social media presence and marketing in just one day.

Debuting in 2007, Resource Magazine is a photo and video quarterly publication Alexandra Niki co-founded with producer Aurelie Jezequel. And since 2000, Alexandra has also owned and operated Niki Productions, a full-service production company that specializes in prop styling. This has evolved into what is now The Prop Stylist a bi-coastal prop styling agency representing over 15 stylists and growing. With a keen eye for aesthetic design, provocative imagery, and creative talent, Alexandra continues to boldly push beyond conventional production online, in print, and on-set. She studied art and music in college, and as a proud mother of two, madness and creativity seem to permeate everything Alexandra does, just as she likes it.

  • Adam Sherwin

Instructor Adam Sherwin is one of those fortunate individuals who found a way to make what he is most passionate about commercially viable. Actually, as is often the case, good fortune only played a small role. Having a viable plan and a mountain of determination was the most important element in Adam’s journey from dark room tech, to photo assistant, photojournalist, studio manager, digital tech, producer and director for RETV, Tech Editor and now head of the social media department and partnership relations at Resource Magazine. Adam now wastes most of his time online making sure his readers and industry partners are kept up to date with the information they need to keep them in touch with everything surrounding photo, video and the incredible people that live, breathe and eat this lifestyle.

  • Resource Magazine

Resource Magazine is a photo and video quarterly publication. Originally focused on photography, we quickly expanded to video when technology began to mesh the two worlds. The magazine is filled with inspiration, techniques, product reviews, photo essays and interviews with big name pros. Established professionals and aspiring image-makers alike can find something to inspire or inform them, and learn a new trick or two along the way.

Resource brings a fresh approach to the field of photo/video magazines, with a unique tone of voice and point of view. We talk to (and about) everyone involved on a shoot, from creatives working in advertising agencies, to studio staff, on-set crew and image-makers (be they photographers or videographers). Our articles are about the stuff that happens on (and off) set and the reality of working in this creative, fast-paced, and fun field.
